you can shorten web addresses (url´s) with 3 steps less
to do
→ set the cursor to the end of your desired addr.
→ hit [rwin] or [ins] or the mouse middle button
after you have downloaded one of the 3 AutoHotkey scripts to your Startup folder. The script will insert "#" and sends the "ENTER" command
on some keyboards you can do the script job with one hand movement, if "#" or "?" is located beside the "ENTER" key
the scripts are helpfull too if you intent to switch to another user or dir Type only the user or dir name and hit one of the keys
i.e. flic.kr/addressTRICK#streetart → /userx_to_usery.html
